Overview

About Balneário Camboriú

Balneário Camboriú is Brazil's most vertical beach destination — a compact 46 km² municipality on the Santa Catarina coast whose dense cluster of beachfront skyscrapers, including some of the tallest residential towers in the Americas, has earned it the nickname "Brazil's Dubai." For DMCs and ground operators, the appeal is density: a 7 km central beachfront lined with hotels, restaurants and nightlife sits minutes from the Unipraias cable car park, the Cristo Luz viewpoint and the FG Big Wheel, making it easy to build short, high-impact itineraries for leisure groups, MICE and incentive travel without long transfer times. Its proximity to Navegantes International Airport and to Florianópolis (about 80 km south) also makes it a natural add-on stop on southern-Brazil coastal circuits.
