Privacy & Cookie Policy
How YourBrasil collects, uses, and protects your personal data, in line with Brazil’s LGPD (Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados).
Effective date: August 20, 2026
1. Who we are
YourBrasil (“we,” “us,” “our”) operates the website yourbrasil.com, a Brazil-based destination management company (DMC) working with travel agencies, tour operators, and local tourism businesses worldwide.
Registered address: Av. dos Autonomistas, 900, sala 1805, Torre 2 — Osasco Prime Center, 06020-190, Osasco – SP, Brazil.
YourBrasil is currently completing its formal company registration (CNPJ). Once finalized, this section will list our registered legal entity name and CNPJ number. For any privacy-related request in the meantime, please use our contact form — see Section 7 below.
2. What personal data we collect
We collect personal data only when you actively provide it to us, through:
- The Travel Agencies registration form: name, email, agency/company name, country, area of specialization, message.
- The Local Network application form: name, email, business name, message.
- The general contact/proposal request form: name, email, message details.
We also collect limited technical data automatically via Google Analytics, but only once you’ve given consent through our cookie banner — see Section 5.
We do not collect payment information, government ID numbers, or any special category of data (health, biometric, etc.) through this site.
3. Why we process your data, and on what legal basis
Responding to your registration, application, or proposal request
Execution of pre-contractual procedures, at your request (LGPD Art. 7, V)
Understanding site usage to improve our content and services (Google Analytics)
Your consent (LGPD Art. 7, I) — Analytics cookies are only set after you actively opt in
We do not use your data for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you.
4. Who we share data with
- Google LLC (Google Analytics): once you consent, aggregated/pseudonymized site-usage data is processed by Google, including outside Brazil (United States). This international transfer relies on Google’s own compliance mechanisms and standard contractual clauses under LGPD Art. 33.
- Infomaniak (hosting provider): our website and form submissions are stored on servers operated by Infomaniak, located in Switzerland. Switzerland is not currently on ANPD’s published list of countries with an adequate level of data protection (Resolution nº 32/2026 currently covers only the European Union). YourBrasil is in the process of formal incorporation; once complete, we will put in place the contractual safeguards required under LGPD Art. 33 for this international transfer.
- We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with any other third party, advertiser, or data broker.

Essential cookies keep the site working and cannot be switched off. Analytics cookies are only set after you actively give consent through the cookie banner shown on your first visit — they are off by default, as required by ANPD guidance.
You can change your choice at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of this site.
6. Your rights under LGPD (Art. 18)
As a data subject (titular), you have the right to:
- Confirm whether we process your data, and access it
- Correct incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated data
- Request anonymization, blocking, or deletion of unnecessary or excessive data
- Request data portability
- Request deletion of data processed with your consent
- Know which public and private entities we’ve shared your data with
- Be informed of the consequences of denying consent
- Revoke your consent at any time
- Lodge a complaint with ANPD (Autoridade Nacional de Proteção de Dados)
- Oppose processing carried out in non-compliance with LGPD
- Request review of decisions made solely through automated processing
To exercise any of these rights, contact us via our contact form.
7. Data protection contact
YourBrasil is currently completing its formal company incorporation. Once that is finalized, we will confirm whether we qualify for the simplified compliance regime for small-sized data processing agents under ANPD Resolution CD/ANPD No. 2/2022 (which can exempt qualifying businesses from appointing a formal Data Protection Officer/Encarregado). In the meantime, for any privacy request or question, please use our contact form — we will respond as the designated point of contact for data protection matters.
8. Data retention
We retain the personal data you submit through our forms for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry, and for a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping, unless a longer period is required by law or you request earlier deletion.
9. International visitors (GDPR note)
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the UK, or Switzerland, you may also have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), broadly equivalent to those listed in Section 6. You can exercise them through the same contact channel.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
